and help marketing bring in sales leads.
Our company needed a stronger version of the marketing website to tell the story of the product and grab leads for sales to run with. Working with the Marketing Director and marketing team, I set out to design and code the website in a tight time-frame set to capitalize on upcoming conferences.
The design emphasis for this website was clear; simple, clean lines to attract attention but easily fall away when a user was engaged with the content. At this point, we hadn't refreshed the design of our app and couldn't use app imagery. The focus needed to be on the copy.
Illustration played an important part for this website, as we wanted to bring some touches of character to the site. I created illustrations for the main banner, icons that corresponded to products offered, and product details. Over 60 icons were created during the project.
I was also responsible for building the site itself, handling the HTML, CSS, and Hubspot integration for the site. While challenging, this gave me the opportunity to design right in the browswer; a new approach to web design for me. This drastically reduced the time needed to launch the site and freed up valuable dev time.
